Getting Started
Download the SkillPay app or visit our website. Tap “Get Started” and sign up with your email, Google, or Apple account. You will be asked to choose your role as a Learner or Mentor during onboarding.
Yes! You can switch between roles from your profile settings. Many of our users are both learners in some areas and mentors in others.
Browse our categories — buying & selling, investing, financing, law, and more — use the search feature, or check out featured mentors on the home screen. You can filter by specialty, rating, price, and availability.
Booking Sessions
Visit a mentor’s profile, select an available time slot, choose your session duration, and proceed to checkout. You will receive a confirmation once the booking is complete.
Yes, you can reschedule or cancel up to 24 hours before the session. Go to My Bookings, select the session, and choose reschedule or cancel. Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a fee.
Payments
We accept all major credit and debit cards through Stripe, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. You can manage your saved cards in your account settings.
If you cancel within the allowed window, a full refund is issued to the card you paid with within 3-5 business days. Late cancellations may receive a partial refund.
Absolutely. All payments are processed through PCI-compliant payment processors. We never store your full card details on our servers.
For Mentors
Sign up and select the Mentor role during onboarding. Complete your profile with your real estate expertise and categories, set your availability and pricing, and start accepting bookings once approved.
Earnings from completed sessions are available for withdrawal after a 7-day holding period. Payouts are processed weekly to your connected bank account or PayPal.
Account & Security
Go to Settings > Password & Security > Change Password. You can also tap “Forgot Password” on the login screen to receive a reset link via email.
Go to Settings > Data & Privacy > Delete Account. This can't be undone: your name, email, photo and profile are removed, while past sessions, payments and payouts stay on record as "Deleted user". Finish or cancel any upcoming sessions first.
